Jaylen Twyman is a professional American football defensive tackle currently for the Miami Dolphins, born on July 19, 1999, in Washington, D.C. He attended H.D. Woodson High School in Washington, D.C., where he played football and was a four-star recruit. Twyman played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and was named a First-Team All-American in 2019. He opted out of the 2020 college football season due to COVID-19 concerns and declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. Twyman was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round (199th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft.

2019 one of college football's top interior pass rushers, named to the 2019 Walter Camp All-America Team.Twyman was the only underclassman defensive lineman on that year's team.

Twyman almost duplicated Aaron Donald’s sophomore season at Pitt by putting up 41 tackles, 12 TFL, 10.5 sacks. Because of that he earned himself First-team All-ACC honors.
